Provided by: ARDA International Foundation

The most popular choice among all timeshare owners for purchasing an additional timeshare is by resale listings online (25 percent), as reported by the ARDA International Foundation in its 2009 Vacation Timeshare Owners Report. The finding is across the board, regardless if the timeshare owner is a recent purchaser or not. Other popular options include using a real estate broker that specializes in timeshare but is not affiliated with the specific resort or company (21 percent), and using a real estate broker that is under contract with the timeshare owners association or development company (20 percent).
