In the September 2006 edition of
“Timeshare Datashare,” we learned what the preferred
location of future purchases was among timeshare owners (whether urban,
tropical, mountain, etc.). So the next question could then be: where are
these timeshare resorts located across the United States?
The State of the Vacation Timeshare Industry: United States
Study, 2006 Edition, identifies 1,604 U.S. timeshare resorts. The
top 10 states with the most timeshare resorts account for almost 66% of
all U.S. resorts, as this table shows:
