ARDA-ROC

The ARDA-Resort Owners Coalition (ARDA-ROC) is the first line of defense against legislation that may negatively impact timeshare owners and their well-being. Through ARDA-ROC, owners can be part of an effective grassroots lobbying coalition of timeshare unit owners dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing vacation ownership.

How does ARDA-ROC work?

The Coalition is comprised of hundreds of thousands of timeshare owners across the country who voluntarily contribute $3.00 a year to promote a legislative agenda at the local, state and federal levels beneficial to timeshare owners. The organization is dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing vacation ownership for timeshare owners.

One state's actions can set a dangerous precedent and spread to other states if not dealt with effectively, therefore, a win for owners in one state is a victory for all timeshare owners.

How can you join this Coalition?

Educate your HOA Board of Directors. Introduce your HOA Board to the plan by utilizing an ARDA-ROC representative or promotional materials. Among these materials is an ARDA-ROC brochure, “What has ARDA-ROC done for you lately?” which outlines ARDA-ROC’s legislative and regulatory triumphs. Then secure the Board's approval to place the request for the voluntary contribution on the owner's assessment.

How can I order a copy of the ARDA-ROC brochures?

By contacting the Manager of Federal Legislation, Kevin Riley
phone: 202.371.6700 x256.
