ARDA “Own the Fun!” Contest Winners
Thank you to everyone who participated in ARDA’s 2007
“Own the Fun” short story and photo contest. Our judges had
their work cut out for them with so many outstanding entries. Thank you
to each and every one of you for sharing your special vacation memories
with us.
Two stories and two photos have been selected as our winners, and we
have posted them below. These and many of our “Honorable
Mention” entries will also be featured in upcoming issues of
Developments magazine. In order to respect the privacy of our
contest winners, we have only used first names.
Congratulations to our winners, and best wishes to all of you as you
continue to make the most out of “owning the fun!”
Great Family Times Shared
Like most folks in this transient age, we have packed our worldly
goods into the moving van more than once. Each new move unleashed
excitement about the future along with a sense of loss as familiar
surroundings disappeared in the rear view mirror. It left us craving a
familiar place to which our family could return and feel at home; even
more so now that the kids are adults and out of the nest. More
