General Session: Lessons Learned from the Money Chase
What a difference a year makes – all the old rules seem
less relevant and the new protocols keep changing. Over the past
year, we have all seen our businesses and worlds change considerably as
our country has struggled with a deep global recession precipitated by a
housing bust and a credit freeze. Access to capital has become difficult
and far more expensive. In short, the old rules of lending no
longer apply. The companies who have been able to maintain their footing
in the current environment have done so because they have adapted to the
new landscape especially in the area of lending.
Because of the importance of capital to our vacation ownership
development business, we must learn the rules and quickly. This
panel will discuss the new lending environment and consequently, the new
ways of doing business.

Members with Keynote Speaker Dana Perino, Former White House Press
Secretary
Ms. Perino brings a unique viewpoint from her time inside the
White House, providing the insight into the current political climate
that will give organizations a clear picture of the changes to come. As
only the second female press secretary in U.S. history and one of the
most widely respected members of President Bush's senior staff, she is
an expert in crafting and communicating key messages under stressful
conditions. She calls on her experience at the highest-level of
government to impart strategies that will help organizations manage
their reputations in trying economic times. How companies and
associations present themselves to the American public will be a pivotal
in determining their standing in the public eye and, ultimately, their
future success. For additional information click here |
