Make Membership Work for You!

Often, the members that derive the most value from their membership are very active in the ARDA Community. Even if you can’t devote a lot of time, here is our advice for getting the most out of your ARDA membership.

• Start Networking! Find out about upcoming meetings and begin meeting industry colleagues
• Exhibit at our annual spring convention
• Suggest a session idea or volunteer to be a speaker
• Contact us for your corporate ID so that you can login and provide your product and services codes and a brief company biography to be used in our online member directories
• Take advantage of the member discount programs designed to save you money on office supplies, utility fees, HR duties, family legal advice, travel protection, terrorist screening, regulatory guides and more
• Request ARDA’s logo to use on marketing materials, your website, etc.
• Request ARDA’s membership list for your records
• Take advantage of your Developments Magazine subscriptions- find out how many subscriptions your membership earns and let us know to whom they should be sent
• Get your opinions heard- Write an article for Developments or a Letter to the Editor
• Get your company maximum exposure: Advertise in Developments or find out about sponsorship opportunities to promote your company's name
• Sit in on a committee meeting at the Fall Conference or Annual Convention & Exposition and see if you’d like to join and become more active
• Participate in the ARDA International Foundation’s research studies
• Read about AIF’s educational products and programs to learn more about the industry and work towards a professional designation (ARP or RRP)
• Find out about ARDA-ROC and how resorts and owners benefit
• Nominate your company’s products or people for an ARDY Award or volunteer to be an awards program judge
• Get involved in your regional or state ARDA Chapter
• Submit your company's press releases for us to use in Developments or ARDA's member news page
• Refer a friend and be part of ARDA's Producer's Club
• Attend a Regional Meeting to learn and network
• Volunteer at Convention and be a part of ARDA's Ambassador Program
