Timeshare Datashare: Average Price per Interval in 2008

According to
the State of the Vacation
Timeshare Industry: United States Study, 2009 Edition, the timeshare industry reported an average sales price per
interval of $20,152 in 2008, an increase of 5% from
2007.
Specifically, the reported average price for weekly
intervals was $19,836, and the average price for points-equivalent
intervals was $20,299. The figure below shows the distribution of sales
prices across resorts. As indicated in the figure, the most common sales
price category is “$25,000 or more” at 34 percent. However,
there are a number of resorts with intervals priced anywhere from $5,000
to $25,000. These prices vary depending on factors such as region and
resort type.
