Current Survey

State of the Vacation Timeshare Industry Survey

The survey was launched on Tuesday January 10 by our research partner Ernst & Young.  The survey aims to measure the size and health of the shared vacation timeshare industry in the United States. Key indicators include, among others, estimates of the number and distribution of resorts in the U.S., number of units, intervals sold and sales volume. Other useful data include average maintenance fees, interval prices, and occupancy as well as estimates of construction in the future.

Participating companies will receive a complimentary copy of the final reports!  Please contact Lan Wang at lwang@arda.org for details!

Financial Performance Survey

The survey was launched on Monday January 9 to a selected group of developers in active sales. The survey continues to modify changes to accommodate the new fee-for-service model that has been gaining momentum in the past few years. The AIF has commissioned Deloitte once again to conduct the annual survey for the year of 2011, which will help provide financial benchmark of the timeshare industry in this post recession time by estimating real time timeshare tour metrics, consumer receivables portfolio performance, securitization and hypothecation, key cost ratios etc..
