What does an average timeshare owner look like? The Shared Vacation Ownership Owners Report, 2012 Edition, gives a good snapshot. According to the report, the typical timeshare owners are 51 years old, college educated, Caucasian, make $74,000 a year, and own their primary residence.
In 2012, 38 percent of owners reported college as their highest level of education and one in five reported having graduate school training. In addition, 89 percent own their home, 53 percent lives in the suburbs with a typical household size of 3.
