Provided by ARDA International Foundation

According to the recently released 2011 State of the Vacation Timeshare Industry report, timeshare sales totaled at $6.4 billion in 2010, increasing by 1.6% compared with 2009.  The industry reversed the trend of sales decline since the financial crisis in late 2008. In the past two years, timeshare developers intentionally slowed down sales efforts due to the credit freeze caused by the economic downturn.
