Be among the first to learn key results from the most current industry and related research.

Networking Break

sponsored by Vacation Resorts International

10:30 am-11:15 am  This is Not Your Parent's Timeshare
With the growing volume of inherited timeshare ownership and little or no knowledge of what to do with it, a new generation of Millennials is obtaining ownerships and they are a ripe target for education and getting started in timesharing. These Millennials are more diverse than older generations and not only accept but also identify with that diversity. This makes it difficult to appeal to them using traditional persona-based techniques. Marketing to the ‘new majority’ demands new rules you must follow to reach to reach this segment not only because of its cumulative buying power but to also ensure that you are receiving leads from these groups. What old paradigms need to shift? Thriving successful companies do not market to Millennials, they market with Millennials. Learn how to tailor your message and your product to the shifting behavior of the American household and the new majority.
11:15 am-12:15 pm  Legacy Resorts - Who is Succeeding and How
Classified as "Legacy Resorts", aging timeshare resorts that are sold out and/or no longer affiliated with a developer face a unique set of issues. Hear from expert legacy resort operators how their legacy resort has found success among the threats. The panels will discuss common challenges and popular solutions.
12:15 pm-1:15 pm  Networking Lunch
