Provided by ARDA International Foundation (AIF)
According to the 2014 edition of the State of the Vacation
Timeshare Industry report performed by Ernst & Young (EY), sales volume grew by double digits to $7.6 billion in
2013, an 11% increase compared with 2012. The industry has steadily continued to reverse the
trend of sales decline since the financial crisis in late 2008. In the
past two years, timeshare developers intentionally slowed down sales
efforts due to the credit freeze caused by the economic downturn.
