Democrat John Oceguera will serve as Speaker of the Assembly, with Marcus Conklin as Majority Leader.

In the Senate, Steve Horsford will be Majority Leader with Mike McGinness serving as Minority Floor Leader. Senator Mike Schneider, who sponsored SB 200, supported by ARDA and ARDA-ROC in 2011, is President Pro Tempore of the Senate. The Nevada Legislature adjourned its regular session on June 7, 2011 and there will be no regular 2012 session.
