Updates to Utah Timeshare Act Have Passed the House

HB 191, introduced by Representative Froerer, has passed the House. The bill includes language revising the Utah Timeshare and Camp Resort Act that provides updates to definitions, greater flexibility for timeshare homeowners’ associations to resale inventory acquired through foreclosure or similar methods, and adds protection for the personal information of owners, among other things.

Virginia Timeshare Foreclosure Bill Passes House

ARDA-ROC is actively lobbying on behalf of HB 234 in conjunction with the Virginia Resort Development Association (VRDA). HB 234 contains provisions that would make it easier for an HOA to advertise the availability of timeshare interests at foreclosure sale.
