ARDA-ROC FIghts Property Tax Increase in TN

The effect of this change would change the formula for determining the taxes due from 25% of assessed value to 40% of assessed value. The ability for an owner to sell or market their interest when they no longer wish to own it is greatly affected by the fees and costs to own. Increases in property taxes will result in higher maintenance fees which average approximate $750/year per interval.

ARDA-ROC Addresses Termination/Extension of Expiring Timeshare Plans

The bill will put into place more achievable voting requirements for owners to terminate or extend their expiring timeshare plans and provide a process for managing the option that the owners choose to pursue.

ARDA-ROC Pushes for Timeshare Exit Legislation in Florida

ARDA and ARDA-ROC seek to empower Homeowners’ Associations (HOA), acting as a representative of owners, to effectively manage terminated resorts, provide reasonable processes for older resorts that are still viable to continue to thrive, and clarify the property rights of timeshare owners.
