The Mexican Association of Tourist Developers, AMDETUR, resulted from the continuous and intensive growth of vacation ownership and other tourism developments in Mexico and the need for one organization to work between the authorities and the developers.

Australian Timeshare & Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) Bundall, Queensland, Australia  

The Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council Limited (ATHOC) is a not-for-profit industry body established in 1994 to represent all interests involved in the Australian timeshare industry, and to work toward national industry best practices.

Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA)

CRDA is an industry-based association dedicated to furthering the vacation ownership industry, both in Canada and throughout the world.

Resort Development Organization (RDO)

formerly Organisation for Timeshare in Europe (OTE)
Includes members of European Union, the Middle East and North Africa  

RDO members represent the best of European timeshare and other forms of vacation ownership. RDO members are dedicated to excellence and fair trading in the timeshare industry whether in the development of timeshare resorts, the management of resorts, or in servicing timeshare owners and club members.

Vacation Ownership Association of Southern Africa (VOASA)

formerly Timeshare Institute of Southern Africa (TISA)  

 VOASA was established to improve representation for reputable companies within the shared vacation ownership industry and promote fair trading, quality within and growth of the vacation leisure industry in Southern Africa (formerly called the Timeshare Institute of Southern Africa).
