Hello ARDA Friends and Family! Memorial Day is right around the corner, and the unofficial start of the summer season comes with it. Realities of summer vacations are now upon us, and for those of us not living in Florida or Arizona, we are removing tarps that have covered up our pools for months and barbeque grills are making their annual migration from the garage to driveways and backyards all across America!
One event that should be on everyone's summer schedule is the ARDAventure meeting from July 19-21, at the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs. A chance to connect with the industry's most engaged leaders and to enjoy one of the most iconic resorts in all America. These opportunities do not come often and space is limited, so please make sure to book your room and reserve your space immediately!
But before we get to that meeting, we have some successes to celebrate and some work left to do on the legislative front. With debt ceiling talks and Presidential primaries dominating the headlines, we will make sure to get you the information you need to be in the know.

For the last few weeks, the Legislative Policy Council (LPC) team has been on the road attending coalition partner conferences, conducting regulatory outreach out west, speaking at member events on condo safety legislation, and working to get our last few bills over the finish line. Currently, we have two that have become law, four waiting to be signed by governors, and one still pending. It has truly been a record year of proactive industry efforts.
This week there was good news from Nevada, where Senate Bill 441 became law, eliminating the COVID restrictions and mandates on businesses in the state, including the requirement for daily room cleanings.
We will continue to keep you updated as we work to get the bills over the finish line and as we work to continue to improve the LPC experience for members. We have some exciting new ideas and plans for the next few months. Thank you for your support and stay tuned!
