Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & General CounselRobert is ARDA’s Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and oversees advocacy objectives to increase positive regulatory legislation that will support the timeshare industry, its owners, and governing entities.
Prior to joining ARDA, Robert served as Senior Assistant Attorney General in Florida’s office of Attorney General for six years. As a well-seasoned law expert, Robert’s focus was in consumer protection, multi-state enforcement and privacy division. He has led an impactful charge with the enforcement of the Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act, as well as numerous vital state and federal statutes, and rules and regulations. He has been instrumental to several joint investigations and enforcement actions with the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Office of Financial Regulation, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and other federal and state regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
Robert also held his own private practice handling complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, as well as corporate and transactional law, intellectual property law, and real estate transactions.
