Tell us about your professional experiences in the industry – what is your area of expertise, and why has your company decided to designate you as an ARDA VIP?
My role is all things business development—from developing relationships with potential clients, to working with our existing partners to ensure their satisfaction, to managing all the day-to-day nuances and complexities of our national scope of work. Having been a Chairman’s League member for a few years, I’m excited for the additional access and benefits of the Trustee designation. ARDA’s events—whether they be meetings, conferences, or retreats—are never anything less than stellar, and our company is always thrilled to be an active participant.

What do you hope to gain from and/or contribute to VIP Membership?
Our leadership team has always been extremely active with ARDA, and we really do value the benefits it provides to the industry. Additionally, being closely involved in committee meetings, the legislative counsel, and the conferences as a whole via our VIP memberships keeps our company first-informed of all the issues and changes impacting the industry. That helps us to be able to quickly react and provide informative and practical solutions for all of our client partners. I look forward to continuing our involvement and growing alongside the organization.

What recent developments at your organization should other ARDA members be aware of?
One of the things I love most about working at Fidelity National Timeshare is that our company is always pivoting and expanding to meet the dynamic needs of the industry. From new product structures, to creating new innovative processes to help our clients manage their burgeoning workloads, we love to think outside the box and be flexible, and we pride ourselves on the fact that we treat each client with a unique, customized approach tailored to their specific needs. In terms of exciting changes, we’ve added two new attorneys, Kelley Diskey and Trey Smith, to our team in the past two years. Our clients appreciate the quick and easy access to our timeshare-specific legal and underwriting expertise, and expanding our footprint in this space made a lot of sense for us and has been really well-received.

What is your favorite place to travel, and why?
While my family keeps trying to convince me to give the snow a chance, after several (epically disastrous) attempts at skiing, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I am not cut out for the slopes. Or the cold. I will happily take a tropical vacation over a winter retreat any day. I was born and raised in Jamaica, so Jamaican beaches have a special place in my heart, but l also love to explore new countries every chance I get.
