Timeshare Owners are More Confident
Since April 2020, the AIF has been co-sponsoring the Back to Normal Barometer, a survey that tracks consumer sentiment on a variety of issues among consumers who had participated in multiple activities in the previous 12 months (which was expanded to 18 months since Wave 18 to cover pre-pandemic activities) on a regular basis. Ever since the study started to segment timeshare owners last fall, their confidence level have continued to exceed that of active Americans overall. Timeshare owners’ higher confidence can also be translated to their high level of engagement. Over five in six timeshare owners are either ready to take or have recently taken a timeshare vacation, according to the latest wave of the BTN conducted in April, 2021.
