ARDA Inside Look - Issue 35
|
First Word
President & CEO Jason Gamel
Welcome to the "middle of winter" edition of the Inside Look, although can you really call it winter when it hits 80 degrees in Washington, D.C.?
Speaking of places where winter doesn’t exist, I was fortunate enough to take a trip to Hawaii this past month, and what a trip it was. First, it was great to connect with ARDA members, friends from the Hawaii legislature, and some long-time partners in the Hawaii state government.
I also had the chance to speak to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and connect with the folks at Hawaii Public Radio to talk about how the timeshare industry recovered from the effects of the pandemic and why we think the industry has such a bright future.
We also have our Skift Webinar coming up on March 9th. Details are provided below on how to register for this exciting conversation with Skift and Mark Wang, President and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations and Michael Brown, President and CEO of Travel + Leisure Co. These are just a few examples of why 2023 is looking to be another great year for the timeshare industry.
I hope you enjoy this edition of the Inside Look, and I look forward to seeing many of you in a few short weeks at the ARDA Timeshare Together Conference in Orlando!
