ARDA-HAWAII SUPPORTS HAWAII YOUTH SYMPHONY WITH $4,000 DONATION
HONOLULU (March 20, 2024) – The Hawaii Chapter of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the timeshare trade group in Hawaii, recently donated $4,000 to the Hawaii Youth Symphony (HYS). The funds will support the organization’s efforts to foster fun and creative experiences that inspire deep appreciation for music and lifelong relationships within the culture of the islands.
Mitchell Imanaka, ARDA-Hawaii Chairman and managing principal of Imanaka Asato LLLC, said, “ARDA-Hawaii is proud to support the Hawaii Youth Symphony for their continued efforts to create an environment where keiki can learn about commitment, discipline, teamwork and persistence. These are lessons both for music and for life.”

Established as a non-profit organization in 1964, the Hawaii Youth Symphony promotes and celebrates the importance of music study on academic achievement and social-emotional development through its mission to develop youth to their fullest potential through orchestral music. Its programs serve youth through orchestral music education, performances, and community engagement.
