
Rental Revenue Increased Significantly in 2022
According to the recently published 2023 State of the Vacation Timeshare Industry Report: United States Study, the timeshare industry generated $2.7 billion rental revenue in 2022, a 21% increase from 2021. Eighty-nine percent of resorts reported offering some form of rental program ranging from daily rentals to monthly rentals. Renters accounted for approximately 15% of occupancy in 2022. Vacationers rented approximately 11.6 million nights at timeshare properties at an average price of $235 per night in 2022.
