Q: Which military branch did you serve in, where were you stationed, and how long did you serve?
A: I served 24 years in across the Engineer and Military Intelligence branches, with assignments in Missouri, Georgia, Arizona, Louisiana, Texas, Hawaii, and Germany, and deployments to Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Q: What motivated you to join the military, and how did that decision shape your outlook on life?
A: I joined the military to support my family and serve our country. That experience instilled hard‐wired values I carry forward every day: integrity, service, and leadership, and it shaped a mission‐first mindset that continues to guide my personal growth and professional decisions.
Q: How has your military service influenced your career trajectory in the vacation ownership industry?
A: Leaving the service can be disorienting. MVW’s commitment to veterans created a soft landing and a community where my military strengths, such as discipline, teamwork, and mission focus, translate directly into leadership and service in the hospitality field. MVW has offered me so many opportunities to develop myself professionally and personally, while reinforcing my passion for service and leadership.
