Q: Can you share a bit about yourself and your cultural heritage within the AAPI region?

A: I come from a proud Indian heritage within the AAPI community. My cultural background has deeply shaped who I am instilling in me values like resilience, respect for elders, community-first thinking, and a strong work ethic. In my professional life, I carry these values with me and aim to represent my heritage with integrity and pride.

Q: What does AAPI Heritage Month mean to you?

A: It recognizes and honors the contributions, achievements, and cultural heritage of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.

Q: What aspects of your cultural heritage have been most influential in your professional journey?

A: One of the most influential aspects of my cultural heritage in my professional journey has been the strong emphasis on perseverance and humility. Growing up, I was taught the value of hard work, respect for others, and the importance of staying grounded, no matter the achievements.

Q: Can you share a moment when you felt proud of your cultural heritage in a professional setting?

A: One moment that stands out was during a company-wide cultural celebration where I was invited to share a bit about my heritage and how it has influenced my career.

Q: What legacy do you hope to leave for future generations of AAPI professionals?

A: I hope to leave a legacy that empowers future generations of AAPI professionals to lead with confidence, authenticity, and pride in their heritage. I want them to see that they don’t have to choose between cultural identity and professional success that both can coexist and be celebrated.
