Today’s timeshare is all about providing great experiences – for owners and employees alike. The industry’s commitment to taking care of its community, from the guests staying on property to the team members who make vacation dreams come true, is gaining recognition. Throughout the last few months, some of the top timeshare brands earned high honors for their operations.
Both Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) and Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) earned spots on Newsweek’s prestigious America’s 100 Most Loved Workplaces list – but they weren’t just included on the list, they were both ranked in the Top 5. According to Newsweek, “The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.” It was noted that MVW regularly rewards employees for taking risks, while celebrating and using mistakes as learning and development opportunities. HGV was acknowledged for its stunning work locations and awarding performance through programs such as the Champions Club.
Travel + Leisure Co. was also recently recognized as a top employer, garnering a spot on Forbes’ World’s Best Employers list for 2022. This distinction highlights the company’s commitment to putting people first and fostering an inclusive environment focused on care, fun, opportunity and impact. By ensuring a positive workplace culture that allows employees to grow and thrive in their careers, the Travel + Leisure team is able to deliver unforgettable vacations to its owners and guests.
Holiday Inn Club Vacations (HICV) was recognized by J.D. Power for providing “An Outstanding Customer Service Experience” with its Owner Support team in 2022, becoming the first company in the timeshare or vacation ownership industry to achieve the prestigious honor. This certification underscores how customers are at the center of HICV operations and its team’s commitment to ensuring personalized and innovative experiences and interactions for all owners and guests.
