September 15th – October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month, and we’re celebrating the remarkable contributions of individuals in our industry. Learn more about their inspiring stories and insights by reading below.

Q: Can you share about your cultural identity?

A: Being American has allowed me to grow up in a country shaped by immigration, diversity, and opportunity. Being Latino is a source of deep pride — it connects me to a rich culture, language, traditions, and values that influence how I see the world. I consider myself a citizen of the world, carrying the best of both identities.

Q: What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you, and how has your heritage shaped who you are today?

A: Hispanic heritage means honoring where I come from, embracing traditions, and carrying forward values of resilience, community, and hard work. It has shaped me with curiosity about different cultures, a love of languages, and a passion for learning from others’ perspectives. My heritage taught me that identity is not just where you’re from, but how you build bridges with others.

Q: What advice (personal or professional) would you give to other Latinx professionals?

A: Embrace all parts of your identity. Be proud of your heritage — it gives you a unique perspective and resilience. Professionally, let your background be a strength: your ability to adapt, communicate across cultures, and offer fresh insights is an asset. Never underestimate your voice, and carry your heritage with pride and confidence into every space you enter.

Q: What impact has your heritage had on you and your career journey?

A: My heritage has influenced my career by shaping how I connect with people and adapt to challenges. Growing up multicultural gave me an appreciation for diversity and a natural ability to work with people from all walks of life. It fuels my drive to keep learning, seek new opportunities, and embrace change. My Latino roots make me both resilient and ambitious.
