Q: Can you share about your cultural identity?

A: My Hispanic heritage is rooted in family values, resilience, and community. My culture emphasizes hard work, hospitality, and respect for others — qualities that have guided me personally and professionally. Growing up, I learned the importance of perseverance, caring for others, and embracing diversity, which shaped how I lead, build relationships, and create inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and supported.

Q: What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you, and how has your heritage shaped who you are today?

A: Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor and celebrate the contributions, traditions, and values of our community. It is also a reminder of the responsibility we carry to lead by example and open doors for others. My deep sense of perseverance and adaptability have shaped me into a leader who is committed to service, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Q: What advice — personal or professional — would you give to other Latinx professionals?

A: Stay true to your roots and embrace your cultural strengths. Your perspective, adaptability, and work ethic are assets. Seek mentors, build networks, and be your authentic self. Success comes from not only achieving but also lifting others as you rise. Remember that representation matters, and your leadership can inspire the next generation of Latinx professionals to dream bigger.

Q: What impact has your heritage had on your career journey?

A: My heritage has taught me the importance of resilience in the face of challenges and the value of creating opportunities for others. In hospitality, where service is at the heart of everything we do, my background has been a source of strength — allowing me to connect with diverse teams, understand guest needs deeply, and lead with empathy and authenticity.
